Agitation Resources

Industrial Mixers Engineered for Every Industry

Custom Agitators & Mixing Solutions

Agitation Resources designs and manufactures industrial mixers for chemical processing, water treatment, and other process duties. The line includes atmospheric and non-atmospheric top-entry mixers, side-entry mixers, portable units, and static mixers. Each unit is sized around the fluid, the vessel, and the mixing objective.

Customizable Mixers

Mixers designed for your process. Reliable, efficient, and tailored to the application

Engineering Expertise

Every mixer is sized by an engineer against your tank and your process conditions.

Dedicated Support

Technical support during startup, and when something is not running the way it should.

About Us

Agitation Resources engineers and manufactures industrial mixing systems for chemical processing, water treatment, food production, paint manufacturing, and more. We combine in-house fabrication with hands-on engineering support, from initial sizing through long-term service. When your process has specific demands, we build to meet them.

What’s Your Biggest Mixing Challenge?

Is the batch taking too long? Are solids settling or the blend coming out uneven? Send us the tank dimensions, product data and details of the mixer you have. We can review what needs to change.

Inconsistent batch results

Uneven batches usually trace back to impeller type, shaft speed or where the mixer sits in the tank. We size those three against your product and your tank.

Budget limits on upgrades

A rebuild or retrofit can often bring an existing mixer back to the current duty for less than a full replacement costs. We inspect the unit first, then quote the work it needs.

High viscosity blending

Thick products need different impellers, slower speeds and more torque. Send us the viscosity range and we will tell you what the duty requires.

ASM pressurized tank mixer — primary CAD view

Pressurized Tank Mixers

ASM GROUP

Sealed and pressurized mixers for closed systems, engineered to handle fugitive emissions, vacuum conditions, and tank pressure with durable mechanical seals.

ASN side-entry mixer — primary CAD view

Side-Entry Mixers

ASN GROUP

Compact and efficient side-entry mixers, ideal for tanks where top-entry installation is impractical or limited by structural constraints.

ARIP portable mixer — primary CAD view

Portable Mixers

ARIP Group

Lightweight and rugged portable mixers, available in clamp-on or cup-mounted configurations for flexible use with drums, totes, and small tanks.

ATM small-batch mixer — primary CAD view

Small Batch Mixers

ATM Group

Tote and drum mixers with rail, lid or bung mounting and impellers properly selected for blending, dispersion or solids suspension.

ALS lift stand with control post — primary CAD view

Stands & Accessories

ALS Group

Engineered lifting stands and accessories that simplify safe mixer handling and improve access for portable or overhead mixing systems.

ALI static inline mixer — primary CAD view

Static in-line Mixers

ALI Group

Static in-line mixers have fixed internal elements and no moving parts. They blend miscible liquids as the product flows through the pipe. Cleaning and inspection requirements depend on the product and operating conditions.

Agitation Resources impeller family: four CAD-rendered mixing impeller designs

Impellers for industrial mixers

We select and manufacture impellers for the required flow and shear. The design depends on the fluid properties, tank geometry and mixing objective.

ALD lab disperser — primary CAD view

Laboratory Dispersers

ALD Group

Laboratory dispersers for small-scale dispersion and formulation work. Send your product and batch requirements for an ALD configuration.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have a question about mixer selection, lead times, or support? Start with the answers below. If your application needs a closer look, send us the process and equipment details.

We provide top-entry, side-entry, portable, and static mixers tailored to your process needs.

Yes. We design and select impellers specifically for high-viscosity applications, including anchor, gate, and helical ribbon configurations for fluids that standard turbines can't handle effectively.

Lead times typically run 2 to 8 weeks depending on scope, materials, and drive availability. We give you a firm date with the quote.

Yes, our dedicated team assists with installation, maintenance, and ongoing technical support.

Absolutely, we design and engineer solutions specifically tailored to your operational requirements.

Mixer Design, Manufacturing and Service

We design and build mixers for your tank and process. We also provide replacement parts, rebuilds and service when the equipment or process changes.

Engineering-Led Sizing

We select the mixer, motor and gear reducer for the fluid properties, tank geometry and mixing objective.

Designed, Manufactured and Assembled In House

We design, manufacture and assemble mixers in our South Carolina facility. Shafts, impellers and adapter hardware are machined in house. Motors and gear reducers are selected from manufacturers such as SEW and NORD to suit the application.

Service for Existing Mixers

We repair and rebuild our mixers and equipment from other manufacturers. We also supply replacement parts and retrofit existing mixers.
