Our Approach

We work through the fluid dynamics behind a process before we quote the equipment. Operating out of our facility in Upstate South Carolina, Agitation Resources is a division of Keystone Industries, LLC, and designs and manufactures heavy duty industrial mixers and agitators. In industrial processing, batch consistency is what the equipment is judged on. A poorly specified mixer can produce uneven reactions, premature wear on the shaft, seal and drive, stalled production and lost output. We work from the fluid properties, vessel geometry, duty cycle and mixing objective of the application, and we machine and fabricate in house, so the mixer is specified for the conditions it will actually run in.

The Agitation Resources Difference

Core Philosophy

Every mixer is specified for the process it will run in. We start from the fluid properties, the vessel geometry, the operating duty and the result the process needs, then work through the sizing and torque calculations to final assembly.

Control Over Quality

Engineering, machining, fabrication and assembly all happen in our Upstate South Carolina facility, so we can check fit and settle manufacturing details as the mixer is built. Lead time depends on the equipment and on the components we source. Configurations range from top-entry agitators for large open vessels to sealed non-atmospheric units.

Industries We Serve

Our equipment runs in chemical processing, where the requirement is repeatable blending batch after batch, and in water and wastewater treatment, where flash mixing and flocculation depend on the timing of the energy input. We also build for the food and beverage industry, across products from thin juices to heavy batters and pastes, and for paints and coatings, where the duty is dispersing pigment and keeping solids off the bottom of the tank.

Each of those puts different demands on circulation, shear, materials, sealing and maintenance access.

Getting Started

High-viscosity blending and solids suspension are the duties a stock mixer is least likely to handle. Send us the process conditions, the vessel data and the result you need, and we will size the equipment against it. You can reach our engineering team directly or request a technical quote.
